Hero of the game was BBP QB Drew Brees, who broke Dan Marino's single season passing-yards record.

Looking For The WGL Draft Date
15-May-2011
We might be ahead of the schedule compared to the NFL, but the WGL is looking for a date and a location to hold the 2011 WGL Draft. Historically it is not easy to find the right time slot for all GM. Please reply to the e-mails that have been sent out.
WGL Cut And NFL Draft
01-May-2011
All WGL General Managers have turned in their franchise players in time (refer to WGL Teams). Thank you for your cooperation. After a first review I have to scratch my head looking at some decisions, but hey, not my call.
Taking in consideration what we can find in the NFL Draft I will take note that some WGL Teams will have a tough time in 2011. But with the experience of almost two decades of fantasy football I won't be surprised if things turn out completely different.
Edmonton Polar Bears Sold To Dallas
25-Apr-2011
After 18 years of highest dedication to the WGL Edmonton GM Michael Dieck had to sell his team. In 1994 the franchise started as the Maine Lobsters. They eventually moved to Edmonton and became the Polar Bears. Although M. Dieck has reached the WGL Bowl several times, he never succeeded in winning the big one.
Legendary is the rivalry against his brother (the Dieck Bowls). Famous ist the quote of GM Gursch to Michael when the Aliens had won against the Polar Bears: "Don't worry, Michael, there will always be next year." Sadly, the time has run out for Edmonton.
Enter Dallas. It didn't take long to sell the franchise. Within minutes new GM Steffen Verharen took over. The franchise moves to Dallas and will start the 2011 season as the Dallas Outlaws. Verharen has a long list of fantasy football references and is known for being a trash-talker. We are looking forward to kicking his butt.
